"THE CHARSIU" BEADED COLLAR
The charsiu collar has a mix of "AB shiny finish beads in shades of blue & stripes.
Our super sturdy collars are hand-made and are crimped securely twice on each end. All beads fed through marine grade coated steel wire (with a rated breaking strength of 160kgs).
Our collars are waterproof tested in both fresh and sea water and have proven to be reliable and strong.
When wearing your collar at the beach or in the mud we suggest that you rinse it in fresh water afterwards to remove any sand/grit/dirt to help maintain the collars luster, shine and strength.
Topical flea and tick medications may interact with some of the beads causing discolouration.
We recommend using gentle hand soap and cold water with a soft microfiber towel to clean your collars. Using harsh chemicals & scrubbing will damage the collar.
We are not responsible for wear and tear on your collars.
We recommend always taking off collars during play, when crated, and whenever your floof's may be unsupervised.
Our collar's are tightly strung so that the beads provide a massaging action on your floof's neck.
Our collars are smooth & offer lack of friction, and should not cause the same irritation that fabric collars may.
You know best how your floof walks on lead so for this reason it is up to you if you choose to use your collar on it's own for walks or if you use a check chain or flat collar attached to your lead and your beaded bling collar for decoration only.
If you have measured correctly your collar is designed to snuggly slip on/off your floof's head.
For long haired/fluffy floof's where you have added extra length so that the collar hangs lower down on the floof's chest your collar will slip on/off your floof's head more easily and we recommend using additional check chain or flat collars for walking.

MEASURING
Our collars are made differently and fit differently to others you may already own so it is important that before placing an order you read our
Our collars are designed to slip on/off your dogs head, please do not guess the size collar to order as it may not fit correctly
- we cannot refund for incorrectly ordered sized collars -
Use a soft tape measure with inches to take your floof's measurements.
If using a body tape measure make sure to read the measurement from "0" not the end of the tape measure.
Please do not use a hard tape measure.
If you do not own a soft tape measure use a piece of string or ribbon to take the measurements, then measure the string/ribbon with a ruler or hard tape measure.
Do not allow extra room or place fingers under tape measure whilst taking measurements.
Measure at the widest part of your floof's head.
The widest part of your floof's head is normally just in front of their ears, in the middle of the head.
The tape measure should be snug but not pulled tightly so that the fur pushes out.
Measure around your floof's neck, again the tape measure should be snug.
If your floof's neck measurement is larger than the head measurement, select the larger measurement to ensure a comfortable fit. This should be where you expect the collar to sit, generally in the middle (not at the base of the neck).
PRO TIPS
Practice sliding the tape measure over the floof's head to get the perfect fit!
If the measurement is in-between 2 full numbers use the larger of the two sizes as your measurement.

Whilst we abide by the applicable law in relation to the supply of our products, no exchange or refund will be given for change of mind or any reasons other than defects/faults caused by us the product manufacturer.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If you have received a defective product please contact us in writing within 3 days of receiving it. Please advise us of the order number and any information about the defect including photos to show the damage/defect.
Once we receive your email, we will contact you about a replacement.
PRODUCTION TIMES
Production time on our collars varies depending on the amount of work we have on at the time of ordering. Make sure you check the production time banner at the top of the page to confirm our current processing time.
PROOF’S
When ordering a custom collar we will deisgn a temp collar and send you a proof. We can alter colours & placement of beads until you are satisfied with the final product. This process may add time to the production of your order so please respond to our emails/messages quickly. Any delay in responses on your part will result in longer processing times.
ALL COLLECTIONS ARE STRICTLY NON-CONTACT.
During Covid we implemented a non-contact driveway collection process. This has worked so well for us and our clients that we have continued this process. Once your order has been confirmed you will receive a meeting invitation with your scheduled collection time & our pick up address, please be sure to check your junk folder and contact us if you have not received it.
